Best Regional Parks in the Langley Area

As a Langley REALTOR® and as someone who has raised a family in the Langley area, I know that nothing is better in the summertime than spending the day at one of the best regional parks in the Langley area. If you have just moved to the Langley area and are looking for a great place to spend some time with the family, here are some of my favourite regional parks.

Derby Reach Regional Park

Derby Reach Regional Park features scenic trails that loop along the Edgewater Bar and through the
forest along the Houston Trail in the historic area of Fort Langley. This regional park offers some of the most popular walking trails that are open to the public year-round. Whether you are looking to plan a day trip or to camp for a few nights, Derby Reach is the ideal place for families of all shapes and sizes.

Campbell Valley Regional Park

Nestled among farm land, Campbell Valley Regional Park features a sprawling network of trails that are perfect for walking, exploring, and even horseback riding. Campbell Valley is also home to Campbell Valley Downs Equestrian Centre and the historic Langley Speedway. With a total of 29km of trails, this regional park is the ideal location for families to spend the day picnicking.

Aldergrove Regional Park

Known for its easy trails, scenic landscape, and multiple picnic areas, Aldergrove Regional Park is one of the most popular parks in the Langley area for families. Located on the border of Aldergrove and Langley and just a short distance for the US border, this park is home to many horse trails and walking trails, making it the perfect place to explore on a sunny day.
